Music
More than anything else, my chief extracurricular interest has always been music. At three years old, I began learning piano at the School for Strings in Manhattan, then with Diana Wan of the Manhattan School of Music.

After moving to Connecticut in 2014, I continued studying classical music under Eugene Posniewski, a period which concluded with two international first-place finishes at the Golden Classical Music Awards, and the Grand Prize Virtuoso competition. I was fortunate to be able to play at the winners' concerts at both these competitions, at Carnegie Hall in NYC and the Parco della Musica in Rome, Italy, respectively.

After these performances in 2019, I decided to turn my musical attention to jazz, studying under Purchase College graduate and innovative jazz pianist Jay Lee. Along with placing in the top three in multiple national and international music competitions since, I've also played at gigs and private events throughout the city, as well as sat in on practices with multi-Grammy winner Vince Cherico, drummer for the renowned Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble, and Taoufik Ben Amor, head of the Columbia University Arab Music Ensemble.

In my final year of high school, I attended the Manhattan School of Music's pre-college division, studying in the jazz program under pianists Jeremy Manasia and Jon Snell.

On December 1, 2023, I released my debut album, Nothing Else to Do, available on Apple Music and Spotify! Huge thanks to all the amazing musicians that helped make it happen.
